Much like an "Amber Alert", a
KCPC
Lassie Alert Email is an all points
bulletin, distributed via broadcast e-mail to
KCPC-registered participants
within a specific radius of your ZIP CODE. .
You can request that a
Lassie Alert Email be sent out to these
agencies and individuals to supplement the free posting they
have placed on the KCPC website.

A
second service feature is the
"Lassie Alert" PET
POSTER service. Many pet owners and advocates do not have the facilities
to prepare and print Lost Pet posters for
distribution throughout a
neighborhood or placement in local
stores such as supermarkets, pet stores and
pet supply stores.
KCPC will prepare such a poster and include it as an
attachment to the Lassie Alert Emails that are sent out on request. The
posters are 8-1/2" X 11" in size and include a color photo of the pet (which you
provide), a description of the pet, where and when it was lost (or found). The
poster is in a .PDF file format and can be printed on a color or black & white
printer from your computer.
The goal of the
"Lassie Alert" PET
POSTER service is to have all Lassie
Alert recipients to distribute the
poster of your lost pet throughout their neighborhoods and shops when they
receive the Alert.
THE FEE FOR ORDERING THE LASSIE ALERT AND
THE POSTER IS $50.00.... MUCH LESS THAN A TYPICAL REWARD OFFERED.
