There are so many ways you can volunteer to help our animal friends when they need us the most. KCPC needs your help ! The number of pets that have been posted has doubled in the past year. We can use your help in several areas. If you are interested in volunteering, check the appropriate boxes below . LOST/FOUND MATCHING - Match LOST with FOUND pets on our website. Call or email pet owners with your findings. UPDATE PET STATUS - Call or email pet owners to see if they have been reunited with pets and report the result to KCPC. PET PHOTO FOLLOW-UP - Call or email pet owners who included "PHOTO EXPECTED SOON" but have not as yet provided a photo. EXPAND THE DATABASE - Collect information on Shelters, Vets and Animal Control beyond KC metro expand the range of KCPC Services FUND RAISING - Make follow-up calls to existing KCPC registrants who have uused our services in the past or are active animal advocates. FIELD SUPPORT - Represent KCPC at pet events at parks, arenas, etc. to hand out KCPC flyers, promotional items and other materials. LASSIE ALERT REGISTRATION - Encourage residents and small businesses in the KC metro area and beyond to register for our "Lassie Alert" program.
